Backpack for Kids program supporters at DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce

In September 2013 DCEF sponsored the monthly Chamber Noon-Time Networking luncheon. Guests to the luncheon included staff from All Faiths Food Bank in Sarasota and we announced the partnerships with All Faiths, Mosaic, the school district and DCEF. This newly created partnership would mean that over 600 BackPacks of non-perishable food would be sent home with needy children on a weekly basis.
