Thursday, June 18, 2016, the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)program held the annual Graduation  Ceremony at the Family Service Center Annex.  The LPN Program has been one of the many Workforce Education programs since 1983 and offers local residents an opportunity to attend training without traveling out-of-county.  The DeSoto County Education Foundation is proud to sponsor one of several awards and/or scholarships given to the students.

Jessica Wingo accepted the Mary Jo Hill Nursing Scholarship which recognizes a graduating student that exemplifies the professional and caring qualities required to be a nurse.
